Super sweet breakfast at El Cafecito in Puerto Escondido! Can recommend the chocolate/banana milkshake, their banana cake, spinach/cheese croissant and their peanut butter toast with banana on.. Don’t know if Petter can recommend the “Mega plate for a hungry surfista” with three scrambeled eggs, bacon, pancakes…

We needed an ATM and with the closest one an hour away we we’re lucky to join Cat & Kristy who were going in to town. They needed to do some shopping for their upcoming surf retreat and get some spear parts for their beetle. After running in and out looking for things in one store they said they hand in next store we sat down for some of the best fish tacos we ever had! If you ever in Zihuatenejo you have to eat at the La Sirena Gorda; The Fat Mermaid. Then we went to the market and found the strawberry man! I said I liked his necklace and he gave it to me as protection, after boiling it three times it’s now my luck charm. Next up was the super market, I love super markets abroad. As a perfect ending of the day Kristy made us our first real american grilled cheese sandwiches!

This is the line up at this loong nice lefthand point break somewhere in Mexico. We are so happy we found it, and got stuck here. For a while i was the only guy out there together with 13 chicks and peeling waves. Of some weird reason I’ve noticed the facts that girls get treated so bad in the lineup and many guys hate them. For me it was a dream world, haha. And the joy was to the max, everyone was cheering every time any one caught a wave.. Especially when Linda Benson or Corky Caroll, caught one.

This is Linda benson and Corky Caroll, two great persons we are fortunate to have met, legends within the surf world and beautiful to watch coming down the line..

This is Cat & Kristy aka the main reason for our 11 days vacation in Ladylongboardlandia, they were just too awesome to leave.. The second day after we met they brought us on a nice adventure in their VW beetle. Check out this place! This is what you still can find here.. Out of all the countries we have been to I think Mexico is where you get most waves for your money. I guess some figure we shouldn’t write it and keep it to our selves, but the locals are screaming for surfers. The drug war and all the bad media have made it so hard for the tourism industry (read: the normal mexican people who have bungalows and food for sale) and there is plenty of waves for ya’all.

For some different reasons (an awesome wave & some awesome people) we just couldn’t leave this place. So this bungalow became our home for eleven days.
