There is so much love behind Bing Surfboards. Love to the waves, each other and to costumers. Here’s the shaper and the general manger also known as Matt and Margaret. Together they send out love in different shapes to Cali, the Big Lake, Europe, Japan. Bings are all over the world, so loved by so many.. Thank you for all the amazing Bings!

Linn & Margaret hanging out Nicaragua style. They are so much fun together and when they wanted me to take some photos of them they just couldn’t stop joking around. Here they are, in the pool, in the sea, in their seea suits.

At the moment I’m sitting in rainy Sweden and looking back at all these photos from Nicaragua makes me.. Longing for vacation again? The week at Mark & Daves in Nicaragua was like a vacation from the vacation. A house on the beach with unlimited beer, unlimited surfboards and unlimited friends.

Petter and I are back to normal again. Or not normal, I don’t think we will ever be normal after this trip. Whatever normal is… But we’re working full time on a project together that not involves this blog, it’s very exiting! However we don’t want the blog to be filled with boring pictures of us in front of our computers so instead we’re gonna show you the pics from our week in Nicaragua with the Bing team.

Staring with some of amazing Margaret in Seea suits. Margaret has been one of the key figures on this trip. She took us in to her and Matt’s home in Encinitas, California, showed us San O, brought us to a kick ass New Year’s party when we had forgot it was New years, hooked us up with delicious boards, dried our wetsuits and sent them home to Sweden, introduced us to so many amazing people that I can’t even count them, always been just an e-mail away, gave me one of her favorite hats, went out and whitewater surfed INT boards with me in Nicaragua, surfed barreling waves with Petter and so on, so on.. Margaret, thank you so much for being the amazing person you are! You are like our Californian sister and we miss you so much!

Here’s pictures of Marg chilling at the pool in her San O suit and further down she’s ripping in her Swami’s playsuit.

A cute detail on the Seea suits is the tag that is handmade and contains a hair band that actually is the best hair band I’ve used for years! Love it! Made in sunny California! More info at www.theseea.com

We must have brought some of the central american sun with us because when we got home the sky opened up and gave us 20+ degrees weather and no winds for a few days straight.

Yesterday we got strong westerly winds, blue sky and some swedish waves coming through, so we seem to have brought the surf too! We grabbed our bing boards, Linn’s longboard and went down to our homebreak. Me, Linn and my bro, soo much fun! Cold water but sunny weather and maximum stoke x 3 made a great session.

The tree’s has turned green in just a few days.

Cows are out again.

Haha getting my bro in one of my wetsuits.. He’s been on Bali all winter and has learned how to surf, he was so stoked to get some swedish waves. Almost looks like he got the cali-longboard-noserider-style already doesn’t it!?

I love the walk down to this spot..

Surf was good, swedish peelers!!

Getting some cold water wax on our boards again.

Linn didn’t have a hoodie nor any boots or gloves but se went in 6°C water without it, brrrr.. That’s 42.8°F!

Mini simmons in the Swedish surf, awesome combo!

My brother surfed my 5,7 biscuit, haha even tough he had he hard time he got some fun ones!

Back to the bing mini simmons, only thing i wanna surf now, haha!

Linn got a niiice one on her longboard, one of those she’s been longing for even when we where abroad and had awesome warm water surf..

Hanging on the beach a la Sweden.

So stoked! Neither Linn or my bro had the gloves/boots/hoddie setup but they still went in, awesome! Happy to score some good ones right away, spring is usually not that good, we score our surf from like september and a few months forward, usually strong winds, rainy, cloudy weather and cold temperature. Not often like this, sunny and calm, so sweet!

Now we have been on the go for almost 5 months.. We started off in the states, in New York and then over to California. From there we have worked our way down through central america along the pan american highway. Knowing that we’ve had a flight booked from Panama back to Sweden, and that our plan have been to go there by bus has been challenging from time to time. Especially since we have been falling in love with every place we visit. We spent to much time in Mexico, or well, it is such an amazing place and we loved it so much so you can’t say we spent to much time there, we spent more than we planned, almost 2 months, because it was soooo awesome. All in all this has left us only one week for Panama. 3 nights have been spent here in Santa Catalina, which are also gonna be our last days at the beach. The next three will be in Panama city.

It has been a good last days at the beach. Actually we have been so surfed out from our last week in Nicaragua so we didn’t even surf, haha!! Good feeling though, it must mean that we have surfed enough at least! We just went down and had a lat look at the pounding and peeling waves of the pacific, saying good bye and see you again.
