The weather is always, ALWAYS good on my birthday. Little wind and alot of sunlight every year and its standard to take the boat out to the island for some “fika”, walking and of course the first dip in the clear water of Hallands väderö. This year it was windy, thunder, sometimes sun, sometimes rain and even hail (hagel). Wonder if the weather tries to tell me something… Anyway everyone helped out to enjoy the weather even more this year, started with kitesurfing in Lagan with Hannes and Linn, just like in the old days but with some new egupiment and with great winds. After that the whole family excluding Svea went to the Torekov Hotell SPA, when we were in the outside japanese jacutzi the cloudsed put on a show and thunder started all around us. It was really cool to be in the hot water with cold winds and rain hitting our heads above the surface, we even got to stay longer after closing time enjoying the wather even more. Mum went home a little earlier. did some magic and woops there was a 3 course dinner on the table, the whole family were together and for desert the greatest birthday cake and a bottle of very special desert wine we  picked up last year in one of the wineries in South Africa. Tack sÃ¥ mycket!

sooo sweet super duper sweet ASS to be back home again. to friends, family, longboarding, kitesurfing and most of all working and just cleaning, doing laundry and all that. we enjoy every single moment from a different perspecitve, even different since the last time we got home after a long journey. i mean, we have been across the world surfing super-GREAT breaks and stuff, but still there is not anything that top a chilled out longboard session home, even if the slope is not near as awesome as the cranking waves on bali

so crazy our byebye-days have been. a few weeks ago ben, a new zealand guy we hanged out with in jbay last year told us that he his older brother were going to come to sweden this january. so we rescheduled our flights and showed them around a little in our world, talked about the rest of the world and had loads and loads of laughs. we wanted to show that torekov is more than i quiet olf fishing village, so we threw a little party just to say good bye to some old friends, meet some new and dance our asses off. byebye evening with the big SA family on wednesday, ben and sam came on thursday evening, party was friday evening, bye bye dinner at my place saturday, bjäre tour on the day, bye bye lunch at linns place sunday, leave the NZ:s, flight leaving sunday afternoon. Wow, not hectic at gall, and thats probably also why we are so stoked now, on the go, with the stress let away.
thanks for the greatest last days in sweden everyone! and ben and sam, totally awesome dudes good luck with the ice, dishwashing machines, chile merlot and dark streets lightened with streetlights!! they are by the way heading north, to åre, norway and finland. if anyone sitting up there, watching here, and feel for lending out a bed or a floor and get to chillout with two NZ dudes just place a comment here. they hit each other alot but they wont bite, and we warn you for their drinking games, totally at your own risk. cheers!
