Getting surf in Sweden is always fun. Getting it with offshore wind is even better. Shoulder high waves and little mini barreling sections adds to it. But I and Rikard wasn’t by ourselves. I’m so stoked to see that we have a very real surf community in Sweden. At 6 o clock in the morning there were about 30 guys
First surf with Simon since he came home from Australia. Fun Waves and sunny weather at a fun right hand point break in Skåne. And Linn & Malibu to accompany us with coffe and the camera. Can’t get much better!
Scored some nice waves on Österlen yesterday. It’s on the opposite side of Skåne so it’s quite a drive from both Malmö & Torekov, but there’s some good spots over there so on a good swell it’s always nice to go. This evening was beautiful. The field with yellow flowers (rapsfält) just bloomed and together
Here’s a random bunch of images from our last week in Sweden. Me and Nick went storm chasing and surfed pretty much every day for a week. We had so much wind pushing the north sea into our small see that our water levels raised by 1.5 meters for a 24 hours period, and our

Chest to Shoulder high, us and two more out. Snaped a few quick shots so not any in action surf photos this time. But,
We’re ocean people. But I really understand people who love the woods. There’s always something mystical going on. Everything is so alive, still really quiet. What do you prefer?
Last week the massive storm reached Sweden as well. Winds reached 42 meters per second at Hallands Väderö. Thats about 80 knots. Perfect for Swedish surf! The only problem was it hit during the night… Adventure. Evening session just as the storm pulled in. Surf starting to build. Everything around us fell down. Sea level
A dawn patrol adventure a while ago. There’s not much that beat a couple of days of good swedish waves shared with friends. When it comes to the dawn patrol, surfers are soldiers…soldiers of fortune. If they are fortunate enough, the morning mission will yield big results.
There’s something special with summer surf here in Sweden. It’s the weird feeling of not freezing your ass off when taking off your wetsuit. Happens very rarely. Petter and I went out for some surf together, just me and him. Also quite rarely for this time of the year. Our peak season for surfing together
