Surf camp in Sri Lanka, built around one all-inclusive surf & yoga week
Sunshinestories is a small surf camp and surf retreat in Ahangama on the south coast of Sri Lanka. Every week is the same simple format: Sunday to Sunday, all-inclusive, with surf lessons, surf coaching, daily yoga, home-cooked Sri Lankan food and a bed in our hundred-year-old colonial villa or one of the garden bungalows.
One package, one price — 975 EUR per person per week — so you can stop comparing surf camps in Sri Lanka and just book the week.

Surf lessons and surf coaching every week
Your week includes five surf lessons with certified on-site coaches, five surf theory sessions and four video analysis sessions. Groups are small, boards and transport are included, and we pick the break that fits the swell and your level — from the mellow beach breaks of Ahangama to the reefs around Weligama, Midigama and Kabalana.
Complete beginners stand up in their first week. Intermediate surfers use the coaching and video feedback to finally fix the turn they have been fighting for years.

South coast in winter, east coast in summer
Sri Lanka is one of the few countries where you can surf all year. The south coast around Ahangama, Galle and Mirissa is at its best from November to April, with clean morning offshores and warm water you can surf in boardshorts. From May to October the east coast near Arugam Bay switches on, and the south turns glassy and quiet in the early mornings.
We run our surf camp weeks year-round and simply move with the conditions, which is why guests keep calling us the best surf camp in Sri Lanka for a first trip.
