this is one of the absolutley coolest experiences i´ve ever had. even cooler than watching the blue whales yesterday!! i´ve heard you could get see these animals around here, so a few days ago me and linn took our snorkeling stuff with us and walked along the beach on a misson to find em. we asked us further and further away, people pointed everywhere and after a while we thought we´ve found the spot, but no sea turtles there.. anyway i put my stuff on and got in, the water was not very clear and the current was very strong. it took me along the beach and the whole time i was looking aroung me everywhere but the sight was very bad. but after just a few minutes i turned my head around and all of a sudden i had a turtle as big as myself just next to me. got really scared by its size that filled up my whole view. i followed him around, really closely. we drifted the current further along the beach, slowly slowly, me by paddling with my paddlefeets and him by slowly waving with his huge paddlearms. such an amazing experience!! WOW
Visst e dom fina! Vi hade utanför vårt hus, nära mirissa, när vi bodde där. Roligt att ni verkar gå bra med Sri Lanka.

Jättefina! Var var det nu ni bodde? Det här är i Polhena 2 km väster om Matara.. Nu sitter vi på barefoot i colombo, ska sova hos Ranjit ikväll och sen lämnar vi ön FÖR DEN HÄR GÅNGEN! Vi absolut älskade det! Tack för alla tips! Kram

Vi bodde ganska nära Polhena i en liten by som heter Bandaramulla, näran Mirissa. Vi åkte jämt till Matara för att handla gå på banke etc. men vår tuk tuk. Polhena känner vi till. Har fattat att ni dragit vidare nu.

Visst är Barefoot fint!? Skönt avbräck mot avgaser och ljudbuller när man är i Colombo. Dyrt och ‘överklassigt’ förstås..men man ska ju se allt tycker jag..
