This is our first view of Mexico.. Not bad at all but it gave me Canary Islands, Europe, feelings. We later discovered that all Mexican cities isn’t like this, but it was nice with a soft start. Stayed in the old quarters and at the hotel, who was in the Lonely Planet, no one spoke English. Nor did they at any at the restaurants, we got by with our school french and body language. Next stop on our trip was Sayulita and just showing up at the bus station with our boards made people show us to the right bus; “Surf in Sayulita?” Si si..
