nescoffe and some cookies from the sri lankan bake tradition, dhal (great mix of lentils and spices), chilli-cocos (yumyum), and rock fruit (a big spikey fruit which you can cook delicious meals of)
pepsi & chai
either they have meat only restaurants, or veg only restaurants. we accidently ended up on one of these meat resturants. so pepsi & chai it was on a strange but cool restaurant in a city we had´nt spotted a single tousist in.
fish malabari
igår hade jag min absolut bästa smakupplevelse hittils i indien. vi har käkat helvegetariskt i en vecka nu och varit skitnoga och faktiskt klarat oss från att bli magsjuka, vilket man kan bli i flera veckor här… men kerala ska ju ha den godaste fisken så igår gick vi ut o chansade! jääklar va gott

another sick contrast in laos was the menu. they served baguettes everywhere, in every streetcorner, all the small food wagons, in the bars, everywhere! and really good ones, with chicken, tuna, ham or cheese, mayo, cabbage, tomatoes and sometimes they even served them warm! everywhere else in asia, you get dry frenchtoast when you ask
