Last week the massive storm reached Sweden as well. Winds reached 42 meters per second at Hallands Väderö. Thats about 80 knots. Perfect for Swedish surf! The only problem was it hit during the night… Adventure.
Evening session just as the storm pulled in.
Surf starting to build.
Everything around us fell down.
Sea level raised about 1.5 meters. Waves out sea reached 7 meters.
Morgonbryggan, under sea level.
It wasn’t easy to find a spot that worked in this much wind. We’re not used to tides so with the increased amount of water things didn’t work. And the wind was just to hard.
Hard to get around.
Found the spot.
Surfed between 00.30 and 2 at night.
Us, the headlights, incomplete darkness, thousands of bright stars and good waves.
WOW! Bara wow.
