We surfed, eat some breakfast and then worked some on our computers, love when we stay a longer time at places and you almost get the rhythm of a every day life. Then Kristy came by for a chat, looked at some footage of her ripping the mini simmons and then we joined her and
Haning out at La Chuparosa is never boring. You never know when one, or 14, of Kristy’s fresh made Margaritas is gonna pop up and turn the pool side siesta into a pool party. We hanged out here as much as we could to escape the mosquito farm that nested where we stayed.
For some different reasons (an awesome wave & some awesome people) we just couldn’t leave this place. So this bungalow became our home for eleven days.
We left the city and this is what we found:
The bus driver didn’t know where Barra de Nexpa was.. So we ended up walking along the highway.. (Never thought I’d be walking along a Mexican highway..) Then we ended up getting a ride from a Mexican family.. (Never thought I hitchhike in Mexico..) But life keeps on surprising you and before we knew it
Went on a spontaneous roadtrip down the pacific coast highway. Felt a little strange to travel threw all the military checkpoints along the way. Felt better getting in the water with a perfect a-frame on which you could find your own little peak, to surf and surf just by yourself.
Petter found this vintage fish in a shop here in Sayulita while he was walking around with his own new Bing fish. Bing boards united all over the world.
Linn got a pinkish, polished, Bing mini simmons with glassed on fins and a ceder stringer. No one really knows what color it is, it’s like a cameleont, sometimes it’s vintage golden, sometimes it’s yellow peach and sometimes it’s something else. When i surf it it’s yellowish, but when Linn surf it is always pink
