Nothing beats the Swedish region Dalarna when it comes to Summer Soltice aka Midsummer aka Midsommar in Swedish. A whole day of celebration, good food, dancing, singing and then a looong, bright night. To top it off really nice you should, according to old folklore, pick seven different flowers and jump over seven fences, during the whole time you shouldn’t say a word. Then go to bed, still quiet, and put the 7 flowers under your pillow and then the folklore syas you will dream of who your future husband will be. Guess who I dreamed of?
