Sunshinstories Family, Sweden

Dalarna

For me Dalarna meant summer when I was a kid. It was here we spent almost all of our summer vacations. Both my mum and dad’s family lives here. But the last three years or so I’ve been working so much every summer that I haven’t found the time to visit my roots and family.. But this midsummer me, my sister and dad drove up to hang out with grandpa and Claery. My cousins were also here the first days. So happy to have the chance to enjoy beautiful scenery, flowers, food and family for a couple of days.

  • Looks like a wonderful time! I’ve always wondered, how does your sister Sunna pronounce her name?

  • Hi Kay! Thank you, it was great! Sunna is pronounced Su-nna with a scandinavian u. Haha, don’t know how to explain it!
