Zafer’s shapeshed

An evening in Zafer’s shapeshed in the middle of Swedish nowhere. He got a real shaping setup and this is my first time here so I was stoked to see it! After a while I understood why. Zafer has been shaping since he was 12 years old and has been working as a professional shaper

You never know what it’ll be. Sometimes it’s some cool weather. Sometimes it’s the most awesome waves. Sometimes it’s both. Sometimes it’s nothing. Surfed this spot for a couple of hours. Chest to Shoulder high, us and two more out. Snaped a few quick shots so not any in action surf photos this time. But,

We’re ocean people. But I really understand people who love the woods. There’s always something mystical going on. Everything is so alive, still really quiet. What do you prefer?

Last week the massive storm reached Sweden as well. Winds reached 42 meters per second at Hallands Väderö. Thats about 80 knots. Perfect for Swedish surf! The only problem was it hit during the night… Adventure. Evening session just as the storm pulled in. Surf starting to build. Everything around us fell down. Sea level

Ericeira town. Small and super picturescue full of cafés, restaurants, little shops and people. People everywhere. Ericeira had just the southern european vibe I miss in Sweden, were people go out and enjoy, meet and socialize in town every day. For example, 9/10 locals eat their breakfast out, every day. Really like it. Loving the

Sorry for letting you hang there. For a month.. Anyway, I and the boys went on a little eat-sleep?-surf mission to Portugal. There wasn’t a swell or nothing really. But we surfed 2-3 times a day for the whole week. It was like a training camp / fear and lothing in Portugal trip / surfsurfsurf

summer waves!

There’s something special with summer surf here in Sweden. It’s the weird feeling of not freezing your ass off when taking off your wetsuit. Happens very rarely. Petter and I went out for some surf together, just me and him. Also quite rarely for this time of the year. Our peak season for surfing together

adios las palmas

We had a great week! Really worth taking a cheap flight here,  stay in Las Palmas and not in the tourist complex down south. Or do that, if that’s what you want.. Bring your surfboard when it’s season, rent a car and go look for hidden waves. Take the ferry to Fuerteventura. Drink wine, eat
