Took a shuttle to Antigua, the beautiful colonial town just an hour from Gutemala City. We found Holistico Hostel close to the cathedral. A nice little room with a very nice bed! The claim they have the best coffee in Antigua, which isn’t true. We found a lot better just a few blocks away. We had left our surfboards in a travel agency before we went to lake Atitlán, felt so strange/nice/lighter to travel without them. But we were happy to pick them up since our hearts ached with longing to get to the sea again. Tomorrow we ‘re gonna take a shuttle to the beaches of El Salvador.

Kind of a relief, not a good place to visit right now. Next time you’re in San Francisco/Bay Area I’ll treat you to a mani-pedi :). & of course our door is open to you. The pix are awesome!! Have fun!!
