Scored some nice waves on Österlen yesterday. It’s on the opposite side of Skåne so it’s quite a drive from both Malmö & Torekov, but there’s some good spots over there so on a good swell it’s always nice to go. This evening was beautiful. The field with yellow flowers (rapsfält) just bloomed and together with the spring evening light it made the drive there super scenic. The wind was far out sea (in swedish standards) pushing some sizeable swell towards a nice left hand point break were the wind was little to no wind at all. It don’t get dark until late now so we got out of the water half past nine in the evening! Just a few weeks ago you couldn’t surf until 4-5ish.. Waves, spring and surf with friends – no better way to spend a wednesday evening!
