jeffreysbaai. the city of perfect waves. and waves is what jbay is all about.

but at flat days off season the town seems pretty weird. and for none surfers it seems REALLY weird. a ghost town with no people. but on one of these empty streets you will find a place called ubuntu. and within the walls of this hostel you will find everything but ghosts. and quickly see this is the place to hang out. its made of pure surferlove. here you need no windguru and no weather reports. get up early in the morning, grab a coffe and run up the stairs. from the balcony you will see all you need in order to know which brake to surf. and after a great session on one of all the great waves you will propably end up on that balcony again. with a sundowner in your hand and some fresh meat on the braai. looking at the waves rolling in from the indian ocean. and knowing tomorrow you dont need to do more than that you dont feel to bad about life.

thats how we lived in jeffreys bay. and thats why we lived there for a month. haha!
