We have witnessed so many tropical thunderstorms lately. Pretty much one every evening. They come fast, hard and then they leave just as fast again. The sky turns really blue, the wind changes, rain comes and then thunder and lightening. So much lightening in just a few minutes or half an hour and then it’s over most of the time. Many times the stormes has passed on a distance so you can just stand and watch the whole thing evolve. There was one the other day and it’s was really really amazing.
At the same time it was Sri Lankan holiday so the beach was packed with people from inland that came to the beach for a dip in the ocean. Men and women behave so different at the beach here. Men love swimming and are not afraid to walk around in their underwar, running and jumping in the water just like kids. Women on the other hand are so careful and always wear clothes even when they go in the water. The image below symbolize the differences quite some. The women are hiding from me while the men were shouting at me to take their picture.
Perfect weather for a bit of reading and a glass of white wine!
The boyz at Sea Horse skyping with Patu! Patu was with us a few weeks back and we went surfing all the time, now he’s visiting his in Switzerland to get married with his girl. His first time abroad so he’s stoked even tough he misses his beloved lanka.
The best way to end the day is in the bar at Sea Horse, a beer, a glass of wine or a coctail and most importantly, a wood fired pizza. They really know how to make them good. Can recommend ordering a margahrita with their home made pesto on the side, just to yummie!
Alltså, vilka MAGISKA bilder!!
Tack FINA SOFIE! 🙂
