we went to the craziest possible warehouse in the world. the best possible place for electronic freaks like me. pantip plaza. three floors and a few ten thousand square meters filled with electronic devices. with an open space in the middle where people fly around with remote controlled airplanes, helicopters, flies, birds, you name it. and most of them are so cheap so that after take off you actually have no control over it. and in every little corner of the warehouse there is people trying to sell stuff that only exists in high-tech dreams. for nothing. strip show in the middle of everywhere and on the floors higher up you find stores with big signs saying canon, sony, apple, nikon, sigma and so on.. floors of heaven. with pricetags cheaper than the second hand market offers you in sweden. waaaaah this is paradise
for the last picture i did not use my own camera.

when we got the bangkok again the other day we got straight into the demonstrations. redshirts everywhere and a hell of a crazy mess. pretty scary with humves driving around everywhere and military armed with machineguns in every intersection. so the italian girl we shared a cab with freaked out. and the taxidriver wanted to save money and skip the highways, where you have to pay toll, so instead he took us straight threw all the reds. i think that we had a bigger fight in our cab than they had on the street tought. so much happiness among everyone! one of the redshirts jumped down from the back of a pickup and ran up to or cab to give us free water bottles. haha i would like to fight like they do. but not like thaksin. so no, solly.

The pink bathroom and the stonewalls feels a bit like Hollywood 1950, don’t you think?
Me and petter take turns of how’s gonna do the laundry. Sometimes we think the hotel charges to much to do it for us.. And I think it is quite nice to work with my hands, to squeeze out all the water and clap it against the bucket and feel like I’m living in a time before the washingmachines.. Hehe. I’m not sure if my boyfriend agrees.. This day in our outdoor bathroom in Kuta Beach, Bali it took him three hours to wash two towels, a half dussin of underwear and a pair of shorts.. Time is money, so I think would be cheaper to hand it in.
P.S: To his defense he claims that it was “like three t-shirts too”. D.S

sitting on a thai island with a chang beer in my hand again. koh tao. i like this island! it really surpriced me, i thaught the it would be totally spoiled and touristic but the vibe is awesome!
tomorow i will breathe under water for the first time in my life. i have attended a padi open water certificate. wow its gonna be fun. i love the ocean. ever since ive been a small kid i have sailed and competed in it all around skåne, knowing the benefits of the currents i actually won over my friends who now compete in the olympics, haha! and when i was even smaller than that i got to drive our motorboat. dad showed me all the good knots and how to orientate between the islands and all the hidden reefs back home. long story short i totally love the ocean and ive wanted to try diving for a loooong time.
apparently people get dive with sharks in the waters around here.
IM SO EXCITEEEED!
