Went home to Bjäre for a few days to shoot some farmers putting their potatoes in the ground. It was interesting. I had ride one turn in every farmers tractor so that they’d get to know me before I could take the pictures. O course they knew my family and told stories about my grandparents
I went home. From full on city life with strong winds and barely any snow left to cold, snowy, quiet and empty street an hour an twenty minutes drive north. Torekov. Just a few people wandering around enjoying the day and the breathtaking light. It sound a little cheesy, but this is definitely the most beautiful place I know
This weekend I got on a train heading north to spend som time with mum, dad and my sister. This is the first time I go home by train, I always drive because I go surfing while I’m home, have work to do or somehting else. It struck me how easy and convenient it is
“Never trust a fart!” thats what Bing gave us for a life advise! Here’s our interview of him. Herbert Bingham Copeland III was born 1936 and grew up two blocks from the ocean in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles. When he was 12 he became friends with Dale Velzy who worked as a life guard at
Went up to Alex in Halmstad to try and find some nice longboard peelers.. Nick and Alex checking out the surf forecast, or well, the wind forecast. We don’t have magic Seaweed here, all the swell we get is from the wind, the more wind – the better surf! Instead there’s a lot of checking
This blog has been alive the past few months thanks to this lovely girl, Linn. Me (Petter) haven’t blogged like one time this whole summer. Simply haven’t had any time. Thank you my darling for keeping this thing alive. Here’s a little post for you and everyone else with some of my snaps from the
today we had a really nice calm day in torekov. this is the best season here, a nice quiet feeling, few people, magical light, magical weather, we biked around the village after spending the day at the restaurant planning the future.
G Swensons krogs bröllopslokal ligger precis utanför Torekov. Fribergs festlokal.
In a moth or so our friends Margaret, Matt and Bing are coming to visit us in Torekov. We had a crappy summer with a lot of rain and I’m praying for the weather gods to shine some sun on us while they’re here! Cause honestly Torekov, you look best in the warm sunlight..
